Every great love story has an amazing supporting cast, and ours is no exception. These are the friends and family who have been there through the big moments, the little moments, and everything in between. They have celebrated our milestones, kept us laughing, offered unwavering love and support, and helped shape our story in countless ways. Many of them have seen multiple versions of ourselves throughout our lives, and we feel incredibly lucky to have our favorite people standing by our side, and we can't wait for you to meet the wonderful people who mean so much to us.
The Bridal Party: Krista’s Village
Maid of Honor
Lissan (pronounced like Nissan but with a L) is one of my (Krista) oldest friends, and we have been BFFs since 8th grade. We grew up together and have seen each other through almost every high and low in life (especially the milestones). Lissan is someone who has always been there for me, and she is basically family. I feel incredibly lucky to have grown up alongside her. Lissan is also a foodie and loves dogs more than people.

Angie is one of my most loyal friends and has shown up for me throughout many milestones. We met in church and bonded over music and coffee. We have been to many concerts and festivals together, she even waited almost 4 hours with me to be front row to J.Cole’s set. Angie is my travel friend and someone I love traveling with. She loves the Dodgers and Bad Bunny, is the sweetest person you will ever meet. Oh and she loves dogs too.

Amanda is one of my best friends and we met in grad school at Pepperdine University. Amanda was my first roommate and we got through our master’s/mid 20s together. Amanda has seen my relationship with Jared from the talking stage until now, and Jared actually ended up moving in with us in NoHo. Amanda is one of the most selfless people I know, she truly understands me and is the kindest person you will ever meet. I am definitely blessed to have her in my life.

Danielle or should I say Dr. Danielle Gomez, is a person who truly knows the authentic adult me. We met at Antioch University in 2022 and completed our PhDs together. She was my rock throughout the program and now just in life in general. She is someone I know I can text every day and randomly, and she understands how to emotionally support me (she’s a therapist go figure lol). I am so grateful to have met her. She is a momma of 3 and is a therapist/supervisor/professor.

Yes, that is her full legal name.
Jared and I adopted Chewie in February 2019 from South Korea. She was only 6 months old and now she is 7 (almost the length of our relationship). Ever since then, she has traveled and moved all over with us and to be honest it is hard to envision life without her so of course she will be included in all things wedding.

I met Eunice at church when I was 18, and we spent many of our emerging adult years together. She is one of my ride or dies and I will always have a special place in my heart for her. She has seen me through my worst and best and has become an anchor in my life. Whenever I am around her I feel safe to be myself. She gets me and my humor and she is one of the funniest people you will ever meet (unintentionally).

Penn Estabillo
BRIDESMAN
Penn is basically my younger brother and someone who I spent a lot of my early 20s with. We also met in church and bonded over music, hiking, coffee, and grief. He is effortlessly hilarious and you can’t help but laugh around him. He has a way of being shamelessly himself (which inspires me to do the same), and it’s contagious. He was the first person to be there for me the night my mom died and has consistently held space for my grief and for that I feel eternally grateful and incredibly lucky to have a friend/family like him.

I met Ashley during my undergrad at CSUN. She was a freshman and I was a junior and we rushed Delta Zeta at the same time/were in the same pledge class. At first, Ashley was doing too much (LOL) but she ended up becoming a legit sister to me. She is also another ride or die that continues to show up for me and has always had my back. If you want to have a good time, invite Ashley. She is so effortlessly funny and one of the best people in my life.

Tiara is basically my younger sister that I love so dearly, and someone that I have gotten close to in the past couple years. I met her in church and she is someone that has always been so accepting, caring, kind, and my hype (wo)man throughout my life. She has been one of the most supportive people during my bridal era and I cannot thank her enough for her kindness and love. It is an honor to have you in my life.

I met Carolina through the Vans and she has become such a great friend turn family. I first met Carolina at a Vans’ Xmas Eve Party. It was my first time and I was nervous because I didn’t know anyone. She was naturally kind, open, and approachable to me that night which helped a lot with my nerves. All these traits she still exudes til this day, and I am so excited to become a Van with her.

Best Man
Jamil and I (Jared) met in 3rd grade on a basketball team. We became quick friends and our Dads ended up coaching the team. His parents lived close to mine and we would end up walking to eachothers houses all the time to hang out. Since then we formed two thirds of the rap group the Young Wunz with Mike, attended undergrad together while living in the same apartment, and supporting eachother thoughout the years. Mike and I met around 5th grade when he and his Dad moved across the street from my parents’ house. Naturally, we decided to ding dong ditch his house and quickly he was added to the group. He in addition to Jamil were in the rap group the Young Wunz with me and we have made over 100 songs together. Growing up we were an inseperable group, and since Mike was the oldest he was the first to drive, go to college, and get an apartment which oppend up a pleathora of adventures and hijinks. Mike always wanted to move to San Francisco and have the family life and now he’s doing just that!

Cam and I met when he was born. I have known him all his life. As my younger brother we have spent the most time together, shared the most growth, and experiences. From competing to cooperating we have always enjoyed playing sports, gaming, and even learning from eachother.
